I had been dreaming of creating an outdoor playspace for Bryce on the back patio and talking about it for weeks. It all came together yesterday thanks to Costco. When we stumbled across a Sand and Water Table at Costco yesterday I was so psyched! That was the clincher. I've been talking about getting one of these for Bryce since he first started taking baths and splashing like crazy. We picked it up, along with an outdoor rug (very eco-chic, I might add - made of recycled plastic bottles, anti-mold and mildew, anti-microbial, and you just hose it down to keep it clean...perfect), and off we went (along with our 200 other purchases... love you Costco!).
Here is Bryce's new outdoor play space! I used our baby gate from Christmas to keep the dogs out and Bryce in, plus put some other semi-weather-resistant toys outside to keep things interesting.
His first reaction was "Seriously, this is for me?!? Wow!"
He and Daddy played and played, got soaking wet, and had tons of fun! I see lots more outdoor play in Bryce's future. (There is sand in the table too, Bryce just really didn't care because there was SO MUCH WATER to play with!)
