The gate: I love it! Evan hates it. Bryce doesn't seem to care. This is a big improvement over a month ago when all he wanted to do was crawl into the fireplace! The tree is a bit crooked, as it should be, crammed into a space that is too small for it, but the setup is working well for us and our presents are thus far untouched. It will be a very Merry Christmas at our house this weekend!
And yes, I know, Where is Bryce's stocking?!? We don't have one yet. I want to get three new ones, but since a) I'm cheap, and b) I know we'll need another set of new ones if/when another family member joins us (more if than when at this point, but whatever), and c) did I mention I'm cheap?...I'm holding out until he knows what the stocking is all about to pick up a new set.
